Booting from USB (HUAWEI's steps)
At startup, press and hold or repeatedly press F12, select the USB drive in the list and press Enter.
Entering the BIOS
While the computer is starting or restarting, immediately press and hold or repeatedly press F2. According to HUAWEI, on 2-in-1 models such as MateBook E you can also enter the BIOS by pressing the Power and Volume Up buttons together while the device is off.
If the key does not work
- Press the key repeatedly as soon as the logo appears; if the Windows logo shows up, you were too late.
- If pressing the F key changes volume or brightness, press the same key together with Fn (Fn key and Fn Lock).
- The menu may not appear when resuming from sleep or fast startup; shut the computer down fully and start it again.
