Booting from USB (Samsung's steps)
- Shut the computer down fully. According to Samsung, the boot menu cannot be reached if the computer starts from a low-power or sleep state.
- Press the power button and immediately press F10 repeatedly (or hold it) until the boot menu appears.
- Select the USB drive and press Enter.
Entering the BIOS
Press and release F2 repeatedly before the Samsung logo appears. If a password screen or Windows opens, restart the computer and try again. According to Samsung, the keyboard layout may differ by model and language.
If the key does not work
- Press the key repeatedly as soon as the logo appears; if the Windows logo shows up, you were too late.
- If pressing the F key changes volume or brightness, press the same key together with Fn (Fn key and Fn Lock).
- The menu may not appear when resuming from sleep or fast startup; shut the computer down fully and start it again.
